If we are going to co-create a new world, it is my contention that we must learn the art of conscious governance. Those of us who are honest with the state of the world in which we live, recognize the opposite of that: unconscious governance. In unconscious governance there is no accountability – anything goes. How does that look to you? Can you see the insanity of allowing anyone to hold a leadership position without making them responsible for the decisions they make? It's not pretty is it? Conscious governance must begin with the individual. Everyone in the society, especially those who we might call leaders, is responsible for being aware that their actions have repercussions; and when those actions cause harm, they are personally and individually responsible and accountable. This is the foundation for what I want to talk about in this video.
